The departmental union of the CGT is organizing a mobilization on September 14 in Morlaix (Finistère).

The union wishes to denounce the "policy of controlling this health crisis" as well as the vaccination obligation, reports

Ouest-France on

Tuesday.

From September 15, non-vaccinated caregivers will be suspended by their employer.

“This vaccination obligation is brutal.

Our union calls for support, for teaching.

By imposing, we also impact the vaccinated caregivers, on whom the absence of others will weigh, ”said Fabien Huguet, CGT delegate of the Genêts d'or home in Morlaix.

"We need additional staff"

Due to constant resources and staff fatigue linked to the health crisis, absenteeism is already present.

“We need additional staff.

In six nursing homes in southern Finistère, fifteen caregivers were missing this summer.

They operated in degraded mode, ”added Jean-Marc Trébern, deputy secretary of the departmental union.

The unions also denounce the fact that in March 2020, the contaminated caregivers were working.

The mobilization movement will leave next Tuesday at 10:30 am, town hall square, in Morlaix.
