Those with strong hearts can see and even touch the soft skin of a snake of an amazing size, as "The National Aquarium" in the canal project in Abu Dhabi revealed that it will be a new home for a 14-year-old Super Snake, who will live in the forest area. Submerged together with 8000 tropical forest animals.

It is believed that it is the largest snake on display of its kind in the world, and it is considered a skilled swimmer with a weight of 115 kg, as it was carried by 12 people to measure its length of seven meters, and its diet includes ducks and rabbits, according to a statement by "The National Aquarium".

The Super Snake was bred in a special captive breeding program in Los Angeles, where it was bred as a special species and has been in contact with humans for 14 years.

Soon, the public will have the opportunity to see it in The National Aquarium, experience its soft texture, witness its intricate color patterns, and get to know for the first time its astonishing size.

“Although Super Snakes are a captive-bred animal, we must be vigilant and careful while caring for them,” said curator at The National Aquarium, Beatriz MacEira.

We are waiting for the audience to get to know her and her personality, which attracted the world's attention.

We are also pleased to take this opportunity to inform and educate visitors about the reticulated snake, which is the main reason for bringing it to the UAE.”

For his part, Paul Hamilton, General Manager of The National Aquarium, said: “We are confident that Super Snake will become one of the main attractions at The National Aquarium in Abu Dhabi.

The experience of watching them relax in their lush tropical forest-inspired home is an incredible and unforgettable moment.

Thanks to its large size and beauty, the Super Snake will be the most prominent addition to the submerged forest area.”

The reticulated snake is native to South and Southeast Asia, and is the longest species of snake in the world, with a length of up to five meters in the wild, and the longest reaching 10 meters.

This type of snake kills its prey by wrapping it around and squeezing it with each exhale.

The snake's jaws are connected by highly elastic bands, allowing it to extend to swallow large prey whole.

This type of snake has a terrifying reputation due to its large size and ferocity, and is one of the few species of snakes capable of preying on humans.
