Fukuoka Prefecture announced on the 7th that it was confirmed that 424 new people were infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture.
There were 261 fewer people than Tuesday a week ago, falling below the same day of the previous week for 14 consecutive days.
The breakdown is
▽ Fukuoka City with 172 people,
▽ Kitakyushu City with 104 people, and
▽ Kurume City with 18 people.
A total of 69,677 people have been confirmed to be infected in Fukuoka Prefecture.
In addition, it was confirmed that two people in their 60s and 90s or older died, and the number of infected people who died in Fukuoka Prefecture was 576.
On the other hand, it was found that 125 new people in the prefecture were suspected of being infected with the delta strain of the mutant virus confirmed in India.
