Affected by heavy rainfall in the upper reaches, the Yangtze River has formed the "Yangtze River No. 1 Flood in 2021", and the Jialing River has formed the "Jialing River No. 2 Flood in 2021". Recently, the major rivers in Chongqing ushered in the largest flood after flooding this year.
The reporter saw in the red wine town of Fuling, the river was vast and the waves were rolling when the flood peak passed the border, and the whole town was surrounded by mountains and water.
The flood peak crossing also attracted many citizens to watch.
Real-time hydrological data showed that at 11 o'clock on September 7, the water level of Ciqikou Station on the Jialing River was 185.77 meters, the super-warning water level was 3.13 meters, and the super-guaranteed water level was 0.13 meters.
With the rising water level, citizens near Ciqikou Ancient Town went to the riverside to watch the flood pass.
In order to keep citizens away from dangerous areas, the Ciqikou Police Station's auxiliary police officers cordoned off, set up warning signs, patrolled Shabin Road, and performed safety persuasion patiently and meticulously. In total, they persuaded more than 300 onlookers to leave.
