Julien Saillat, farmer in Habère-Poche (Haute-Savoie), had the unpleasant surprise to see his field taken as parking during the last Rallye du Mont-Blanc, which took place in Morzine and its surroundings, from 2 to September 4.

In a video posted on the Facebook page of “La Place du Village”, the France 3 program, the farmer shows several cars belonging to the public coming to attend the event, properly parked on a large green expanse.

Three hectares, he explains, of grass intended to feed his animals.

The video, which was widely relayed, elicited many messages of support from the organization of the rally, which admits to having been overwhelmed by the crowd and the attitude of some drivers.

The drought had forced the farmer to plant 500 euros of seeds crushed by the invasion of vehicles: alas, like Attila, where the rally passes, the grass never grows back.
