Tashkeel revealed the activities of the new season during a press meeting held yesterday, pointing to the center's participation through a group of artists in Expo 2020 Dubai, which will start next month.

Lisa Pallichgar, Deputy Director of Tashkeel, said that the center's new season will include a series of interactive workshops, art exhibitions and specialized lectures that attract the interest of adults and children, who seek to enrich their creativity, and practitioners of art and design wishing to expand the scope of their professional practices.

Hoor stated that the current stage represents a return to the situation before the “Corona” pandemic, while adhering to the precautionary measures, pointing out that the program returned to what it was before the crisis period, and what contributed to this is the presence of a new working team, noting that there will be a lot of Workshops for children, youth and adults.

The fall season begins at Tashkeel with the first solo exhibition of the Egyptian plastic artist residing in the UAE, Nora Zeid, which is organized under the title “Cairo in Tyre: Storytellers from Heliopolis.”

The illustrations included in the exhibition, drawn either manually or digitally, and in black and white, form an artistic system full of rich details that do not pay attention to many, taken from different parts of the Egyptian capital, the birthplace of the artist.

In addition to the exhibition, a series of art workshops will be held, and during the fall season, workshops and discussion sessions for adults are scheduled to address interdisciplinary artistic methods, as well as emerging topics and innovative and in-depth ideas in the fields of contemporary art and design.
