, according to his lawyer informed the AFP news agency, at the age of 88.
Belmondo is one of the myths of European cinema.
He has participated in films by Godard, Vittorio de Sica or Angès Varda.
In 2016 he won the Golden Lion for his lifetime at the Venice International Film Festival.
