Yuhito, the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Akishino, celebrated his 15th birthday on the 6th.

According to the Imperial Household Agency, Yuhito, who became a third-year student at Ochanomizu University Junior High School this spring, has spent the past year in good health.

Last September, at the school's student festival, "Interviews with adults who live in the corona wreck" and the accompanying survey results were exhibited and announced with classmates.

It seems that Mr. Yuhito learned about the hardships and efforts of people in various industries and deepened his thoughts on what he could do.

In addition, the work that spelled out memories of the trip to the Ogasawara Islands was selected as an honorable mention of the literary award for elementary and junior high school students, and in March, I attended the award ceremony held online.

During this summer vacation, Yuhito watched online events organized by private organizations with his family 10 years after the Great East Japan Earthquake and 5 years after the Kumamoto earthquake, and what children can do in the event of a disaster. It means that I learned about disaster prevention in the future while listening to the story.

The second semester of junior high school has started from the 1st of this month, and Yuhito is commuting to school energetically.
