The death of a muezzin while raising the call to prayer in Libya .. Video
Activists on social media circulated a video clip documenting the death of a muezzin while he called the call to prayer in the city of Benghazi, eastern Libya.
The Tobruk Now website stated that the deceased was Abdul Hamid Al-Marimi, and he passed away after he called the afternoon prayer, after suffering a heart attack.
In the video, the muezzin appears suddenly and unmoving, while a number of mosque-goers rushed to him in an attempt to help him, before it became clear that he died on the spot.
