Fukuoka Prefecture announced on the 5th that it was confirmed that 589 new people were infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture.
There were 368 fewer people than Saturday a week ago, falling below the same day of the previous week for 12 consecutive days.
The breakdown is 200 in Fukuoka, 83 in Kitakyushu, and 27 in Kurume.
A total of 68,835 people have been confirmed to be infected in Fukuoka Prefecture.
