The Guinea-Morocco match, scheduled for September 6, 2021 in Conakry in qualifying for the 2022 World Cup, has been postponed to a later date, confirmed the International Football Federation (FIFA).
A decision that follows the attempted coup d'état that took place on September 5 in the Guinean capital.

," said a joint statement.

Early in the morning, this Sunday, heavy gunfire rang out in the Kaloum peninsula, near the presidential palace.
The situation remains confused.
The Moroccan football selection is currently trying to leave Guinea.
The two teams compete for a place in the last round of the African qualifiers, with those of Guinea-Bissau and Sudan, in Group I. During the first day, the Moroccans beat the Sudanese 2-0, while the Guineans and the Bissau-Guineans drew 1-1.
Sudan and Guinea-Bissau supposed to clash on September 7 in Omdurman.
