A round of floods caused 56748 people to be affected.

  From 7:00 on the 4th to 7:00 on the 5th, heavy rain occurred in the central and western part of Ankang City, and local heavy rain occurred in the western part.

A total of 201 meteorological monitoring stations in the city showed precipitation.

  Affected by heavy rainfall, 98 town offices in 9 counties (cities, districts) (Hanbin, Hanyin, Shiquan, Ningshan, Ziyang, Langao, Xunyang, Baihe, Hengkou) of Ankang City experienced flood disasters to varying degrees. Crops such as flue-cured tobacco and rice were damaged, and infrastructure such as water supply, roads, river banks, and agriculture were damaged.

  As of 17:00 on the 5th, a new round of floods caused 56748 people to be affected, 11,529 people were evacuated to avoid danger, and 14,728 people were relocated.

599 hectares of crops were affected, 233 hectares of disaster area, 60 hectares of non-harvest area; 32 houses with 80 collapsed houses, 203 houses with 75 houses were seriously damaged, and 751 houses at 374 houses were generally damaged; direct economic loss was 320 million yuan, including family property losses 14.41 million yuan, 17 million yuan in agricultural economic losses, 29.16 million yuan in infrastructure losses, etc.

  After the disaster, the Ankang Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government attached great importance to it, and various departments at all levels in the city and county actively carried out rescue and emergency recovery work according to the division of labor.

The Municipal Emergency Management Bureau pays close attention to the rain and flood disasters, provides rescue forces in advance, completes disaster statistics, and properly arranges disaster-stricken people.

  At present, 75 new resettlement sites have resettled 3248 people affected by disasters, and 11,480 people have been relocated in scattered locations.
