For this reason, the Emirati artist described the period of his forced withdrawal from the singing scene, due to the withdrawal of many production companies and his inability to produce artistically. He said, "It is a real problem facing any artist at the present time, and prompts him to think seriously about searching for new ideas to promote his work in a period of increasing social media activity." He continued, "Despite all the obstacles on the road, and my many professional and administrative connections that force me sometimes to stay away from the atmosphere of artistic work and deprive me of opportunities to mix sometimes with the active artistic community in the studios during the evening period, I, with the testimony of many around me, present prestigious works of art that win the approval of everyone." With a smile: “Perhaps these are some of the main reasons why I became a bit (unlucky) artist.”

Successful experiences

Despite all these challenges, Sultan Al Balushi, since his artistic launch in 1997, has managed to reserve an important place on the Emirati scene through a number of successful lyrical works, such as the experience of the song “I ask you for a moment, Qamar” from the words of the poet Ahmed Al Muharrami and composed by his uncle, musician. The well-known Oud Abdullah Al Balushi, through which the artist managed to attract the admiration and appreciation of a wide segment of the audience, especially since the song was released in a joint lyrical album, after which the artist embarked on a careful artistic journey through which he participated in many events and various artistic activities at the level of the city of "Al Ain". Opening opportunities for fruitful artistic partnerships with a number of poets and composers, and betting on establishing his own musical group, with which he presented a distinguished group of successful songs in that period.

A strong start

On the other hand, Sultan Al Balushi stopped at the song that contributed to his Gulf launch and introduced the audience to his talent in composing and singing: “At the end of the nineties of the last century, and by virtue of my work in Dubai private studios, I met the Emirati producer Suhail Al Abdoul, who offered me the idea of producing an album Lyrical, and indeed we started working on this project, which culminated in 2003 with the presentation of the album (Ya Ma Nassukh), which included a group of distinguished songs that exceeded 10, in which I collaborated with a group of poets and composers such as Fayez Al-Saeed and composer Ahmed Al-Marri. I filmed a video clip, however, it achieved the desired Gulf and Arab spread at the time, especially after it was broadcast on a large number of famous Arab TV channels at that time.”

On his relationship with the media and social networks, Sultan Al Balushi affirmed his keenness on a continuous presence on the local media scene through his participation in several television programs, the latest of which was the “Sama Night” program on Sama Dubai channel, through which he presented a bouquet of his most successful works, pointing out The importance of the artist's presence not only in the media, but also on social networks. He said, "It has become necessary to increase interest in these modern media to promote the artist and introduce his works locally and in the Gulf, especially since most festivals and artistic events are now managed by private parties that are looking primarily for financial returns that may be achieved by only some names at the expense of others, which may increase From the marginalization of many prestigious artistic experiences.” As for the most prominent features of his singing style, the Emirati artist considered that calm and deliberation in artistic choices, and proximity to classical Gulf works, are the two features closest to his heart:“I still insist on this classic style, and I will not ride the wave of light songs and the popular (disco) song system today, and I do not think that I will do so in the future, despite the many offers I received in this framework.”
