Ms. Stestag, with the end of the summer vacation, many are now back in the office.

Is formal business clothing still conceivable after months in the home office with sweatpants?

At least she would be desirable.

Relaxed is all well and good, but when we wear good clothes, we are simply more productive, more creative and answer the phone more professionally.

That's why I recommend paying attention to your clothes when you're working from home.

I hope that we will return to the office properly dressed.

It will certainly not be the same as before, but formal clothing is appropriate for the customer, and without customer contact at least the level of a casual Friday.

Can you dress formally yet comfortably?

Of course, it doesn't necessarily have to be the tie, after all, the suit depends on the industry.

Comfortable clothing doesn't just mean sweatpants.

We can also play around the silhouette comfortably with wide cuts, such as a wide shirt.

For example, women can appear relaxed in the office with a boyfriend shirt and beautiful Marlene trousers.

Are there any fabrics that are suitable for a relaxed appearance in the office?

Knitwear and denim are currently very popular - jeans material has become indispensable anyway, and knitwear stands for comfort and a need for protection.

Natural fibers that indicate weightlessness, are light and supple, are also suitable: cashmere, for example, or beautiful silk.

As a rather coarse fabric, linen was also very popular this year because of its feel.

With everything that is currently happening in the world, we want to be able to identify with our clothes.

We want to cover ourselves with great materials that give us lightness, but also security.

Can one or the other home wear item also be integrated into the work wardrobe, like the model Hailey Bieber once wore a red pantsuit with a gray hoodie?

Definitely!

I really like a hoodie with a pantsuit.

But it has to fit the industry, in a traditional Bavarian bank that might be a little difficult.

But in general I find such a break in style refreshing: a loose pants suit, a nice hoodie and sneakers - that shows ease.

Keyword sneakers: The high heels are also likely to have mothballed many in the past year.

Should they be taken out again, or are sneakers okay too?

For a pitch or a presentation, I always recommend a higher paragraph to my customers. A block heel is best suited so that you have a good stance. This lengthens the figure, the shoulders automatically go all the way back, the head is pulled upwards as if by a thread. This simply gives you a completely different standing. Here too, however, the following applies: It depends on the audience. At a fitting for an IAA presenter, we recently only chose sneakers. The important thing is: it just has to be a good shoe that makes the outfit look great, and that can of course be a sneaker. On the other hand, I advise against ballerinas, they look too girlish - this is not an advantage, especially when negotiating salary or signing a contract.
