On September 2, the 48th Nightingale Medal Awarding Conference of the Red Cross Society of China was held in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.
Cheng Shouzhen, director of the Nursing Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Sun Yat-sen University, was awarded the Nightingale Medal.
On the afternoon of September 3, Cheng Shouzhen returned to the hospital where she worked. Her nurse sisters came to greet colleagues who won the highest honor in international nursing.
Everyone touched the medals, touched the hands of the winners, and shared the joy.
