Nara Prefecture and Nara City announced on the 3rd that it was confirmed that 169 new people were infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture.
The prefecture also announced that a man in his 90s in Kashihara, who had been confirmed to be infected, had died.
A total of 13,735 people were confirmed infected in the prefecture, and 139 people died.
