The German laser specialist, Professor Peter Arne Gerber, considered that the best way to remove tattoos is laser treatment, since this method does not often leave scars, noting that laser tattoo removal takes a long time, up to a year and more, depending on the nature of the skin and the nature of the tattoo itself, i.e. How deep is it and what colors are used.

Gerber added that black, green, red and blue are easy to remove, while white, gray and violet are difficult to remove.

If it is not possible to perform laser treatment due to suffering from allergies, for example, then surgery is resorted to, where tattoos are surgically removed, but this method leaves behind scars.

Professor Gerber warned against resorting to other methods such as tattoo removal creams and peeling using fruit acids or lactic acid, explaining that these methods lead to severe injuries to the skin, and sometimes cause it to be exposed to bruising, which leads to inflammation and the emergence of scars.

In general, Gerber recommended that you think carefully about the difficulties and risks associated with removing a tattoo before you start painting it.
