Recently, many well-known Chinese photographers from the China Photographers Association and local photographers in Qinghai visited Dulan County, the hinterland of the Qaidam Basin, Haixi Prefecture, Qinghai Province to take pictures.

The beautiful natural scenery of the county has become a valuable photographic material for photographers. The photographers have a unique perspective to create exquisite works that record the splendid beauty of Dulan.

Dulan County is located in the Haixi Mongolian-Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Qinghai Province. It is located in the southeast corner of the Qaidam Basin, known as the "cornucopia" of China. The whole territory can be divided into two types of landforms, the Hanbuda mountainous area and the Qaidam Basin plain. The terrains such as Gobi, desert, valley, river and lake, hills, plateau, and mountain are distributed in sequence.

Dulan County was once the political, economic and cultural center of the Tuyuhun Ancient Kingdom. It is located in the southeast of the world-famous Qaidam Basin. It is also an important post on the Ancient Silk Road. The Ancient Silk Road passes through the entire territory from east to west, within the territory of Dulan. The "Rehui Ancient Tomb" was once called the "Oriental Pyramid" on the Tangbo Ancient Road.
