Nineteen countries for the 19th edition which will take place on December 19th.

It seems that the Eurovision Junior has a lucky number.

The musical competition reserved for 9-14 year olds that France will organize for the first time will take place at the Seine Musicale (Boulogne-Billancourt).

With the exception of Belarus - whose membership in the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) has been suspended - all the countries competing in the previous edition will be there.

In addition to France, it will be necessary to reckon with Germany, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Malta, the Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Serbia, Spain and Ukraine.

Returns

Eight countries will return to the competition.

Namely Albania, Armenia, Ireland, Italy, North Macedonia and Portugal which withdrew last year, as well as Bulgaria and Azerbaijan, which did not participate since, respectively, 2016 and 2018.

This Junior Eurovision will be broadcast on France 2. The channel will soon announce the personalities in charge of the animation and the artist who will take over from Valentina, winner last year with her song

J'imagine
