When antibody cocktail therapy for mildly ill patients with the new coronavirus was performed at a hospital in Tokyo Metropolitan Government, about 80% of the patients recovered, and the city said that it was effective, such as introducing medical institutions. The policy is to allow patients to receive medical treatment.

Twelve hospitals in Tokyo Metropolitan and Kosha have been administering drugs to mildly ill patients with antibody cocktail therapy since the beginning of last month.

According to the city, 82 out of 102 people who received this treatment by the day had recovered or stabilized their symptoms.

The remaining 20 did not become severely ill.

For this reason, the city has a policy of allowing more patients to receive this treatment.

Specifically, among those who complain of fever and other symptoms, those who are likely to be infected and have an underlying illness will be referred to a medical institution that can receive treatment as well as examination.

In addition, we are planning to provide this treatment at the "Oxygen Station" where mildly ill patients undergoing medical treatment at home are transported by emergency and receive oxygen administration.

The number of seriously ill patients in Tokyo is extremely high at nearly 300, and the city wants to prevent the aggravation by promoting antibody cocktail therapy in order to improve the medical system, which continues to be in a critical situation.
