High school students are proceeding with signing activities asking the government to take full-scale measures in line with the new semester, hoping to create an environment where trains can go to school with peace of mind while the damage caused by molestation continues.

The Japan Youth Council, which is led by high school and university students to promote youth political participation, has been conducting online signing activities online since early last month asking the government to take measures against molestation.

One of the members I met, a female student in the third year of high school, gave an example in which half of the girls in the class were suffering from molestation on the train, and said that the actual damage was greater than the number of cases recognized. Many people cry and fall asleep, saying, "I can't help but sue," or "I don't know who is the culprit."

In the request, the perpetrator is early, saying that it is pointed out that it will conduct a survey to grasp the actual situation of molester, teach in the educational field how to deal with molesters and sexual crimes, and have a high recidivism rate. We are also looking for a system to receive a recurrence prevention program.

According to the organization, more than 25,000 signatures have been collected so far, so we will request the relevant ministries and agencies within this month.
