Retired American generals called for the resignation of the Pentagon leadership in connection with the irreparable damage to the US reputation caused by the circumstances of the withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan.

As expected, it looked no less shameful than the flight from Saigon in 1975.

The Soviet Union in 1989 left Afghanistan in a much more organized and dignified manner.

The biggest sadness of today is that as soon as an official leaves his place, he suddenly regains his sight.

Why do eyes open only after resignation?

This is bad luck - why do officials and employees so clearly not see the picture of what is happening, being at their post?

It is obvious that the current American servicemen were unable to defend reasonable actions in front of politicians, which were probably voiced within their community more than once or twice and which were happily forgotten at the moment when the political leadership in the person of the Biden administration intervened.

The results were not long in coming.

Complete obstruction on the part of the world community, colleagues and partners, opponents, and also, importantly, on the part of their own citizens and adequately thinking military personnel, as well as retirees.

As for the military, this is a separate story, since among them, as we can see, there are many very courageous people: to advocate the resignation of the current US Secretary of Defense, Lloyd Austin, who is also black, is, of course, outrageous racism by modern times and American standards.

Only exceptionally extraordinary people can afford to do this.

And, as it turns out, they still exist in the United States.

This country is not alive alone.

But seriously, one cannot fail to notice here an extremely strong and at the same time subtle game.

What does it mean to turn everything in the current Pentagon upside down by removing the current leadership?

The Republicans want to regain control over the "grain place" with annual budgets of $ 700-750 billion. Agree, there is something to fight for.

Of course, no one is going to give up yet.

American political games are extremely sophisticated and cruel, one awkward move, one failure - no one will miss it or close their eyes.

Everything you do will be used against you.

And here - the whole Afghanistan and a failure of almost cosmic proportions, judging at least by the press and public resonance.

Republicans are on the alert, and it is naive to think that they are not using this failure to their advantage, because control over the Pentagon is really a high stakes, and they will play this game.

Plus, let's not forget the classic law of political science: if at colossal costs an army is not able to defeat an obviously weaker enemy, then such an army is useless and incapable of combat.

Converting retired US generals is a powerful step. It would be foolish to take such a statement lightly from people who have served America and have actually proven their loyalty to this state. It is obvious that a statement made by a group of people of this level cannot but shake the authority and spoil the image of the current American administration. If theirs go against theirs, this is an alarming signal indicating a deep systemic crisis. A weakening power and an unreliable partner - this is the diagnosis that the American military has made to the current American government. The military who never throw words to the wind. They know what they are talking about, their word, if it is finally said - weighed and verified. This is very serious. America is rapidly weakening, and they themselves openly admit it.

Well, that's good news for us.

The main thing is to use the opening opportunities wisely.
