Objectives achieved.

Thanks to his 219th participation in the

12 blows of noon

, Bruno became this Wednesday the greatest candidate in the history of individual game shows in the world.

Previously, this record was already held by a Frenchwoman who had distinguished herself in a competing program: Marie-Christine had played 218 times in

Everyone wants to take her place

on France 2.

Achieving this title was only a matter of days for Bruno who had already broken the world record for individual victories in a TV game on August 28.

As a reminder, Marie-Christine had experienced four defeats over the course of her career in Nagui's program, which explains why these two records were set with a few days apart.

Two records in one

As if beating a record was not enough for Bruno, the candidate accomplished another feat on Wednesday by accumulating 922,234 euros in winnings and gifts in his kitty. He thus dethroned Eric, his predecessor, left with a sum of 921,316 euros. If he wants this name to be listed in the pantheon of French television, the master of noon will still have to earn a few tens of thousands of euros. To win the biggest check ever published on the small screen, it will have to exceed the million euros touched by Marie Friedel on August 27, 2004 in

Who wants to win millions?

However, it should be noted that this record has not yet been approved since the

Guinness Book

does not seem to have yet looked into the matter.

"We are working on this with the

Guinness Book of Records,

" said Jean-Luc Reichmann last week during the show.
