Playsets designed to be enjoyable for children with and without disabilities have been installed on a trial basis in a park in Toyama City from the 1st.

Toyama Prefecture has installed a new playset on a trial basis in Akigashima, Toyama City, at "Toyama Airport Sports Ryokuchi" so that children with and without disabilities can enjoy playing.

This park is called an inclusive park, which means "wrapping" or "inclusive" in English.

In the park, there are swings with equipment to support the upper body so that the body does not fall forward, and rotating playsets that children with disabilities can play while sitting or lying down.

On the 1st, children with disabilities and their parents visited the park and checked the comfort while actually playing with the playset.

A mother raising a child with a disability said, "Since there is no contact between a child without a disability and a child with a disability, I would like to interact with nature in such a park. It is a very attractive park."

The trial installation period is until the end of October, and Toyama Prefecture will consider whether to introduce playset in earnest after taking a questionnaire from users.
