In order to prevent the theft of high-grade grapes one after another during the harvest season, a departure ceremony for a night patrol was held in Suzaka City, Nagano Prefecture, in cooperation with the city and police.

About 20 people, including city, police, and JA staff, participated in the departure ceremony held at Suzaka City Hall in Nagano Prefecture on the night of the 29th.



In Suzaka City, high-class grapes such as "Nagano Purple" are in the harvest season, but damage is being stolen mainly at night every year, and according to the Suzaka Police Station, damage in Suzaka City and Obuse Town last year. It means that the total number of bunches was about 1500.



At the departure ceremony, Yuichiro Miyashita, chief of the Suzaka police station, said, "As the theft damage increases, we will strengthen our vigilance and nighttime investigations."

Then, police cars and city vehicles departed one after another for night patrols, and city officials and police officers were looking around for suspicious people with flashlights in the vineyards. ..
