On August 29, in order to recruit trainee inspectors and police officers, the Hong Kong Police Force held a "Police Recruitment·Experience Day" event at the Hong Kong Police College.
More than a thousand people who are interested in applying for the police force participated in the event, experienced the selection process, and learned about the training courses of the police academy and the functions and equipment of different police departments.
According to the police, the goal of the Hong Kong Police Force from 2021 to 2022 is to recruit 195 trainee inspectors and 1,345 police officers.
