World capital of mountaineering, Chamonix is ​​now that of trail running.

The city of Haute-Savoie hosted the Ultra-trail du Mont-Blanc all this week after a year of absence due to the health crisis.

Ninety-two countries were represented, with thousands of participants.

A true world summit of a booming discipline, the so-called UTMB offered different races over several days.

The most legendary of them took place this weekend over three countries, 171 kilometers, 9000 m of vertical drop.

It brought together 2,300 participants, many of them amateurs.
