To confirm Dubai's leading position as a global center for future technology industries, and a leading destination for the development of virtual sports and digital content in the region and the world, Brand Dubai, the creative arm of the Dubai Government Media Office, announced that Dubai will host the first edition of the festival of esports, comics, pop culture and POPC Live, The first of its kind in the Middle East, which will be held in March 2022.

The festival, which is organized by Galaxy Racer (GXR), one of the leading companies in the field of e-sports based in Dubai, in cooperation with the entertainment company Waverider, will continue for five days, and will include many events and various activities that will be held for the first time in the region. It includes esports, comic-con, and pop culture for YouTubers.
