On August 28, Yangzhou City held the 20th press conference on the prevention and control of the new crown pneumonia epidemic.
Yin Chenglei, deputy director of the Yangzhou Municipal Health Commission, notified that there were no new confirmed cases of local new coronary pneumonia in Yangzhou at 0-24 o'clock on the 27th.
Up to now, Yangzhou has reported a total of 570 local confirmed cases.
After meticulous treatment by medical staff and evaluation by experts, 38 confirmed patients reached the discharge standard and were transferred to designated hospitals for rehabilitation on the same day, and a total of 296 cases were discharged.
As of 24:00 on the 27th, a total of 53 confirmed cases have been treated at Yangzhou Third People’s Hospital, including 7 cases of mild type and 46 cases of ordinary type. At present, a total of 221 confirmed cases are in Tangshan District of Nanjing Second Hospital (Nanjing Public Health and Medical Center) treatment, including 30 cases of light type and 191 cases of common type.
Yin Chenglei said that up to now, there are 7 medium-risk areas in Yangzhou.
On August 27, Yangzhou carried out nucleic acid testing in some areas, sampling and testing 1,406,600 people in total.
As of 24:00 on the 27th, no positive samples were detected.
