Therefore, the Board of Directors of the German International Cultural Center took a decision to withdraw honorary certificates from Muhammad Ramadan, with the utmost respect for all those who drew our attention to this.” According to the Egyptian newspaper "Al-Shorouk".

On Thursday, the Egyptian artist, Mohamed Ramadan, published on his Facebook page the news of his obtaining an honorary doctorate in acting and singing performance, and said that he had been awarded by the Lebanese Minister of Culture, the Syndicate of Musicians and the Syndicate of Lebanese Actors, explaining that he also received the title of “Arab Youth Ambassador.” from the “German Cultural Center” in Lebanon, which the three of them denied.

While the Syndicate of Actors in Lebanon commented on the crisis, and said, in a statement, that “the electronic press websites circulated what the Egyptian actor and singer Mohamed Ramadan published about his honor in Beirut, specifically at a festival called (Best International), which was held in the Casino du Liban under the auspices of the Lebanese Ministry of Culture, The Syndicate of Theater, Radio and Television Actors, the Syndicate of Music and Singing Professionals in Lebanon, and the artist Ramadan was awarded the title of Arab Youth Ambassador, while the German International Center in Beirut awarded him an honorary doctorate in acting and singing performance.
