A paramedic died this Saturday in Besançon, after being stabbed during an intervention on a man known to suffer from psychological disorders and who was taken into custody, we learned from the police and parquet.
After a call from his family to the SAMU in the early morning, two paramedics went to the home of the forty-year-old in the district of Planoise, police said.
Also alerted, it arrived on the scene a few minutes after the ambulance.

"The paramedics a priori knew him so they did not wait for us" and after entering the apartment, the man "stabbed one of them", explained the police, confirming information from L'Est Républicain.
The paramedic "died a few hours later" at the hospital where his colleague had transported him, the same source said.
"The victim is unfortunately dead and a suspicious person is in custody," confirmed the prosecution.
