Of these, Suspect Sakuma was arrested on the 7th of this month for slashing a female college student in his twenties, but a subsequent investigation by the Metropolitan Police Department revealed that he was slashing passengers one after another while moving in the train. On the 27th, he was re-arrested on suspicion of attempted murder of another woman in her 50s.



The woman was stabbed in two places on her flank and was injured for two weeks.
