The Egyptian artist, Mohamed Ramadan, shared with his fans and followers of his account on the “Instagram” website, a video he took during his visit to the “Monument to the Martyrs of the Port of Beirut.”

Ramadan appears in the video, wearing the Lebanese Civil Defense's uniform, laying a wreath at the monument dedicated to the martyrs of the Port of Beirut from the Lebanese Civil Defense, and the video's owner is the song "Feday" by Abdel Halim Hafez.

Ramadan had announced that he had obtained an honorary doctorate in acting and singing performance from the Syndicate of Theater, Radio and Film Actors in cooperation with the Syndicate of Professional Music and Singing in Lebanon, under the auspices of the Lebanese Ministry of Culture.

Farid Boussaid, head of the Syndicate of Music and Singing Professionals in Lebanon, said in a statement: "What happened is just an honor at a festival, and we did not and cannot grant the artist Mohamed Ramadan an honorary doctorate. What was published is just confusion and has nothing to do with the Lebanese artistic unions."
