The Hôtel des Invalides is not just a famous historical monument.

Behind its doors is also the National Institution for Invalids, a care center for veterans.

Here, soldiers, firefighters, and all soldiers can be treated physically, but especially mentally.

Djamel goes to the INI for the follow-up of his prosthesis: “There is real care.

There is dialogue, there are links that are created, they take their time.

And that makes all the difference.

If they hadn't been there, I don't know how it would have ended.

Mikaël, a firefighter from Paris, comes there to treat his legs: “We rub shoulders with soldiers of all generations who all have their own way of seeing life and operations.

The older ones also provide psychological support to the young.

Their experience makes them good advice and helps the minds of their cadets.

Charles Villa goes to meet the patients of the National Institution for Invalids in the video of our partner Brut.
