The legendary Swedish pop group Abba may have a surprise in store for their fans.

A tweet called ABBAVoyage suddenly appeared on Twitter on Thursday, pointing to a website of the same name.

It says: The wait is almost over, the date: 02.09.21 and the request to register.

The PR agency ZAP PR confirmed the authenticity of the page to the German press agency.

But she did not want to give any further details.

There is now wild speculation among the fan base as to which surprise Abba might have in store.

A new tour?

A new song?

Or even a new album?

Numerous fans quickly spoke up in the comment field on the Twitter page.

The quartet, Agnetha Fältskog, Anna-Frid Lyngstad, Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson, had already recorded new music in 2018 that had not yet been published.

At the beginning of the year Björn Ulvaeus announced that the songs would be published this year.

Abba is one of the world's most successful bands of all time.

After huge success with hits like "Dancing Queen" or "The Winner Takes It All", the Swedish pop band ended their career together at the end of 1982.
