Last year, Kristallen was broadcast digitally, but this year, TV-Sweden's own gala is back in front of an audience at Cirkus in Stockholm.

During the evening, 21 prizes in a total of 19 categories were awarded - from the viewers' favorite program to this year's TV drama.

Tonight's first statuette, for this year's entertainment program, went to TV4's "Masked singer Sweden".

This year's TV personality, voted for by the TV audience, was Tareq Taylor, whose program "Tareq Taylor's food journey" also won the award for this year's lifestyle program.

It has been a fantastic journey, he stated in his speech.

"Ghost hunt" again favorite

In addition to this year's TV personality, the audience also voted for the viewers' favorite program: "Ghost Hunt" (Discovery +) with Joakim and Jonna Lundell.

It is a mixture of a fantastically nice format and a very exciting content, said Joakim Lundell about why "Ghost Hunt" has become so popular.

This year's comedy program was SVT's "Premiere date unknown", while "The Elite Force's secrets - Sweden" (TV4) was named this year's reality soap, "Estonia - The find that changed everything" (Discovery + / Channel 5) for this year's review and "Greta" (SVT) to this year's documentary.

This year's program

The prestigious award for this year's program went to SVT's acclaimed police series "Thin Blue Line", which also won in the category of TV drama of the year.

There is something for everyone in this series, it affects many, said the main character Gizem Erdogan.

Amy Deasismont was nominated for Best Actress for her role in her own series "Thunder in my heart" (Viaplay), while shooting star Alexander Abdallah was named Best Actor for his role in the Netflix gangster thriller "Fast Cash".

It became the streaming service's only award, despite several nominations.

The female presenter of the year was Carina Bergfeldt ("Skavlan", SVT), the male of the year was David Sundin ("Best in test", SVT).

Hasse Aro was praised as the gala's jubilee, while the honorary prize was awarded to the longtime TV profile Malou von Sivers.

It is not wise how much I have experienced, she said in her speech of thanks, where she also struck a blow for daring to be uncomfortable in the role of journalist.
