It is inconceivable what is happening in private schools, it is not enough that prices are high compared to many countries of the world, and compared to the same schools during previous years, until the prices of the kindergarten stage in some schools reached the price levels of universities in other countries. Any way from other income, different ways to maximize profit margin, all from the parents' pockets!

School clothes today have become a leading trade, and have turned into a source of quick and inexpensive profits for schools, and at the same time, they have become an additional burden on parents, especially if there are three, four or more children in the same family!

It is not an exaggeration at all if we know that the price of a “jacket” for primary school students in a private school, manufactured in a sewing shop in “Jabra” in one of the industrial areas, is equal to, and even more than, the price of “jackets” of international brands in the “Dubai Mall”, manufactured in Italy, France and America !

It is also noted that the prices of “pants and shirts” for all private schools without exception, are more than two times more expensive than the prices of the famous “Marks and Spencer” stores, which are located in most large commercial malls, with a quality that far exceeds the quality of school fabrics.

Of course, I do not mean advertising and advertising for “Marks and Spencer” stores, but because most parents are resorting to this particular store to escape the crazy high prices of private school clothes!

No one understands the justification for a group of sewing shops monopolizing the right to tailor the clothes of most schools, and why the monopoly in the first place? Do parents send their children to schools to learn or to control where their clothes are bought? Why not leave each family the right to choose where to buy clothes? It is not a problem, the school can exercise its right to set the specifications, colors, and approved shape of the school uniform, and leave the parents the right to dispose of providing this approved uniform for their children, and they are free to buy the uniform from any party, or any tailor, or any clothing store, why the idea of monopoly And fixing exaggerated prices, compared to poor quality fabrics?!

What is happening can only be explained within the “box” of exploitation, and if the concerned authorities do not want to intervene to determine or control the prices of clothes, for any reason, then there is nothing wrong with them, there is no need to interfere, but they can only abolish the monopoly of the sewing market, And to issue its decisions giving parents the freedom to dispose of the school uniform according to the approved specifications for each school. Is this procedure also difficult?!
