It is reported that at 4:34 on the same day, the Zhenyuan County Fire Rescue Brigade immediately dispatched 2 vehicles and 9 people to the police after receiving the call.
At 6:34, firefighters arrived at the disaster site about 3 kilometers away. Due to a landslide, firefighting vehicles could not continue to pass. The commander led the firefighting officers to walk to the disaster site with rescue equipment such as hoe, shovel, motorized chain saw, and rescue rope. .
