The auction for a falcon of the Gear Pure type (Super White), produced by the Canadian Jim Wilson Falcons farm, began at a price of 250 thousand riyals (about $ 67 thousand), to be awarded after a strong competition that lasted about half an hour, at a price of 350 thousand riyals (about $67,000). $94 thousand).

The length of the Canadian falcon is 18.5 inches in width, and its weight is 1600 grams, making it the most expensive falcon since the start of the international auction on the fifth of August.

A spokesman for the Canadian farm, Fares Al-Fares, stated that the farm produces about 300 falcons annually from Canadian Pure and Sibri gear, with the same quality, which produced a falcon today, indicating that the sold falcon deserves this price, and another falcon was sold in the auction for 93,000 riyals, revealing a falcon. A third will be shown in the coming days.

In the previous days, the auction witnessed the sale of another rare falcon for 270,000 riyals ($72,000), of a Saudi production, coming from the Al-Aradi Saudi Falcon Farm. Only a quarter and weighing 1105 grams, its owner will run the Al Mazayen Championship for falcons of local production, in the largest event of its kind, the fourth edition of the King Abdulaziz Falconry Festival, which begins on November 28 and will continue until December 16.
