A ceiling painting of a dragon god dancing was dedicated to a shrine in Takeo City, Saga Prefecture, hoping for the convergence of the new coronavirus.

On the 24th, a "dedication festival" was held at the main shrine of Takeo Shrine in Takeo City, where about 30 people, including priests and related people, gathered.

This ceiling painting called "Kairyu" is 3 meters long and 5 meters wide and is painted on a cedar tree.

It was called "finger drawing" and was drawn with fingers, back of hands, and nails without using a brush.

In the hope that the new coronavirus will converge, the dragon god dances while violently spraying waves from the sea.

This ceiling painting was dedicated by a worshiper of the shrine asking Mr. Tamao Hamada, a leading artist in Tottori prefecture, to make it.

Mr. Hamada said, "I drew it with the thought of calming the anxiety of the corona as soon as possible. I hope many people will be energized by seeing the ceiling painting."

Tetsuji Takeo, the priest of the shrine, said, "I want to pray for the happiness of people through the ceiling painting."
