The National Institute of Infectious Diseases, which is supporting the investigation of new coronavirus clusters in large commercial facilities around the world, should adjust the number of visitors, considering that there were cases where sales floors and employee cafeterias were crowded. And the cafeteria are calling for people not to have conversations.

The National Institute of Infectious Diseases has dispatched experts to local governments to support investigations into clusters of employees in department stores and shopping centers that have been confirmed since last month.

The cause of the cluster is still under investigation, and each company is strengthening its countermeasures, and then summarized and announced typical features and countermeasure proposals that are likely to be common to the relevant stores.

According to this, while it was generally appropriate for employees to wear masks, there were some points that could be improved by hand washing, and there were sales floors where customers were crowded depending on the time of day.

In addition, there were cases where employees did not fully understand and manage the people they contacted, and cases where employees' cafeterias and rest areas were densely populated.

On top of that, adjust the flow of people and the number of visitors in places where customers are crowded, measure carbon dioxide concentration and devise ventilation, and eat without talking in the employee cafeteria or rest area. And so on.
