Does it keep raining even after the typhoon passes?

<Meteorological Caster Jeon So-young>

That's right. If you look at the radar image now, strong rain clouds are concentrated in Gyeongnam, and the rainy season front stays in Korea and spreads rain nationwide.

Therefore, even if the typhoon passes, it is expected that a lot of rain will fall across the country until today as a low pressure approaches.

As a result, a heavy rain warning is currently issued in Gangwon, and a heavy rain warning is in effect in various parts of the west including Seoul.

From now on until today (24th), heavy rains of more than 400mm will fall in many places near the southern coast and Mt. Jirisan, and in the southern provinces, 100 to 300mm, and in many places in the central region, including Seoul, over 200mm of heavy rain.

Please continue to be careful until today to avoid damage.
