The crisis alert level goes up in the order of interest-caution-vigilance-serious, and the emergency response level of the major script goes up in the order of 1 to 3.



The Korea Meteorological Administration predicted that this typhoon would enter the south-southwest sea of ​​Seogwipo on the morning of the 23rd, pass through the southern sea of ​​Gwangju on the evening of the same day, and land near the southern coast overnight, and then turn into a temperate cyclone at dawn on the 24th and escape into the sea northeast of Ulleungdo.



Accordingly, the central government holds an emergency response meeting with relevant ministries and local governments this afternoon to check the expected course and impact range of the typhoon, as well as important countermeasures.



At the meeting, we plan to preemptively control areas where there is a risk of human casualties, such as areas vulnerable to landslides, underpasses, and habitual flooding areas, and ask them to thoroughly inspect the operation and abnormality of drainage facilities such as dams, reservoirs, sewage pipes, and drainage pump stations.



In addition, we plan to examine the precautionary evacuation of ships in operation, safety measures at construction and industrial sites, measures to prevent damage to the Corona 19 vaccination center and temporary screening and inspection stations, and measures to prevent damage to evacuation facilities in the event of a disaster.
