Okinawa Prefecture announced on the 22nd that it was confirmed that 586 new people were infected with the new coronavirus.
The number has decreased by 75 compared to last Sunday, but the infection is still spreading.
This brings the total number of infected people confirmed in the prefecture to 37,468.
