On August 22, Yangzhou City held the 24th press conference on the prevention and control of the new crown pneumonia epidemic.
Judging from the content of the announcement at the press conference, the number of newly diagnosed local cases in Yangzhou has been single digits for 7 consecutive days, with a total of 113 discharged from hospital.
Wang Jinsong, deputy director of the Yangzhou Municipal Health Commission, reported that at 0-24 o'clock on the 21st, Yangzhou had a new confirmed case of new coronary pneumonia, a common type, from a centralized isolation point.
After meticulous treatment by medical staff and evaluation by experts, 25 confirmed patients on the 22nd met the discharge standards and were transferred to designated hospitals for rehabilitation.
Yangzhou has reported a total of 113 local confirmed cases out of the 568 confirmed cases.
As of 24:00 on the 21st, a total of 171 confirmed cases have been treated at Yangzhou Third People’s Hospital, including 38 mild cases, 130 ordinary cases, and 3 severe cases; 284 confirmed cases are currently in the Tangshan District of Nanjing Second Hospital (Nanjing) Municipal Public Health Medical Center), including 40 cases of light type, 240 cases of ordinary type, 2 cases of severe type, and 2 cases of critical type.
All patients are currently undergoing full treatment.
Up to now, Yangzhou has 4 high-risk areas and 21 medium-risk areas.
