China News Service, Yinchuan, August 22 (Reporter Li Peishan and Xie Yu) At about 20:50 on August 22, after 68 hours of rescue, four people trapped in the roof fall accident of Qingshuiying Coal Mine in Ningxia were successfully raised to the well.

  At around 23:50 on August 19, a roof fall accident occurred in the belt lane at 110207 working face of Qingshuiying Coal Mine. The length of the roof fall was about 30 meters.

At the time of the accident, there were a total of 8 workers on the work surface, 4 of them escaped smoothly, and 4 of them were trapped in a 12-meter-long space at the head of the excavation roadway.

After the incident, a rescue team of more than 600 people quickly launched rescue operations, and rescuers digging rescue channels by bypassing the roof fall area.

  At around 7 am on the 20th, rescuers heard the percussion and got in touch with the trapped people through a drill pipe.

At 8:13 that night, rescuers opened the life-saving hole for transporting food, and delivered food to the trapped people as soon as possible.

  On the morning of the 21st, the trapped people sent out a note to inform rescuers that they are currently in good physical condition.

Subsequently, the rescue team delivered food to the trapped people several times for replenishment.

  At 17:45 on the 22nd, the rescue channel was opened.

After 3 hours of rescue, the trapped personnel were successfully ascended to the well.

  It is reported that the 4 people trapped in the accident were Wu (squad leader, comprehensive excavator driver, age 33), Mu (roadway digging and masonry, comprehensive excavator assistant driver, age 28), and Bi (roadway Digger, age 27), Ding (roadway digger, age 28), the average age of 4 people is 29 years old, and there are also veterans who have good knowledge of safety and self-rescue, and have good physical and psychological qualities.

  The four trapped persons have stable physical signs and stable emotions. They have communicated with their families underground and reported that they are safe.

At present, 4 people have been sent to the hospital for observation and treatment.
