At 10:20 on August 21, a 4.5-magnitude earthquake occurred in Qixingguan District, Bijie City, Guizhou Province.

The reporter learned from the government department of Qixingguan District in Bijie City that the earthquake has caused damage to the houses of 60 villagers in the Bajiao Group, Yanwan Group, and Longjiazhai Village of Faqi Village, Zhuchang Town.

Two of the villagers’ houses were hit by rolling stones, but fortunately no casualties were caused.

  After the earthquake, the militiamen of the People's Armed Forces Department of Qixingguan District immediately rushed to the epicenter to conduct disaster inspections.

The militiamen have set up tents at Yanwan Primary School in Faqi Village, Zhuchang Town, used tents and school buildings to settle the damaged houses, and moved the people from house to house to ensure that no dead ends are left. At present, more than 400 people have been transferred and properly settled in the local area. The situation is still under further statistics.
