The epidemic continues to weigh on the hospital system according to the latest figures published by Public Health France on Friday.

More than 200 new patients have been admitted to intensive care in the past 24 hours and 10,515 hospital beds are now occupied by Covid-19 patients.

2,091 patients in critical care

The epidemic continues to weigh on the hospital system, since 2,091 coronavirus patients are now treated in critical care services, against 2049 the day before, the outbreak that began at the end of July continuing.

All departments combined, 10,515 hospital beds were occupied by Covid patients on Friday, against 10,392 the day before.

Across France, 887 new patients have been hospitalized over the past 24 hours.
