The day God saved Moses

The tenth day of Muharram, which is called in the Arabic language “Ashura,” is a memorable day in the history of Islam, and it is credited with the great event that occurred on it, which is the deliverance of the Prophet of God and His Caliph, Musa bin Imran, upon him and upon our Prophet, prayers and peace be upon him, for God Almighty has saved him from his enemy who He took his corner, was proud of his army, and resolved to uproot the Cleric of God and those who believed with him from the Children of Israel, and he was still chasing him on land until the sword of the sea arrived, so the sea was in front of him and Pharaoh and his army behind him was a tyranny and an enemy, and when the anguish intensified, the great relief would come to him, so his Lord revealed to him Glory be to Him: “Strike the sea with your stick, and it splits, and every split was like a mighty mountain.”

And this is how God’s victory for his prophets will be when the darkness is severe, and he senses doom, in fulfillment of his promise and what happened in his Sunnah to which the Almighty referred to by saying:

Musa, peace be upon him, is God’s prophet and speaker. His Lord, Glory be to Him, has created him in his own eyes. It is the right of every believer to thank the Lord, glory be to Him, for His victory and the destruction of His enemy, who said: “I have not taught you of any god besides Me.” The first thankful was Muhammad bin Abdullah, the master of God’s blessings. And his peace, who made this day a day of thanksgiving to God Almighty by fasting, and remembering his great event, and said to the Jews who went against the approach of the Torah, and were stubborn in following what Moses and Jesus recommended, and what was revealed in their books of faith in the Prophet sent at the end of time, our master Muhammad, upon him and upon the Messengers All God’s prayers and peace be upon them, He said to them: “We are more deserving of Moses than you.” Because Moses is his brother in the message and religion. The prophets are the offspring of defects. Their religion is one, which is Islam, and their laws are different, and that is why his Lord, Glory be to Him, commanded him to follow the guidance of the prophets before him in what was not revealed to him. Those who have the guidance of Allah Fbhdahm Aguetdh(.

Among the loyalty to the Word of God, peace be upon him, is that our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, commanded us to follow his example in this thanksgiving, so he urged us to fast this day, and he explained to us the virtue of fasting on it, as Muslim narrated from the hadith of Abu Qatada, may God be pleased with him, who said: He was asked about fasting Ashura? He said: “It expiates for the previous year.” And if there was nothing on this day except for our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who has not neglected fasting on this day since his mission, and even before the mission, as the Quraysh used to fast, if it was only that, the Muslim would have been keen on it. , How has he shown what is in it of merit!

The day of Ashura is one of the sacred month in which fasting has merit in general, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “The best fasting, after Ramadan, is God’s Muharram month,” and how much merit in fasting throughout the year?!

“Whoever fasts one day in the way of God, God will keep his face away from the Fire by seventy autumns,” because fasting is one of the best acts of worship, and it is the worship about which the Truth, Glory be to Him, said: “Except for fasting, for it is for Me and I will reward for it,” meaning a reward that does not fall under account, other than what is In all other acts of worship, the reward of which is estimated at ten good deeds, seventy or seven hundred, and the prudent Muslim does not neglect such a reward, and God Almighty has blessed him with his realization.

As for the grief that occurred on this day for the family of the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, that is something that should not be renewed in grief, for remembering the grief, especially that awful battle that history recorded in black letters for its perpetrators, bleeds the heart before the eye. Islam does not want us to renew sorrows, because it is a religion that works for the future, not to remember the aches that affect one's behavior and the integrity of one's heart.

This is the guidance of Islam in ensuring the integrity of the heart, for this is blood from which God has cleansed our hands, so should we not cleanse our tongues from it?

It was also reported on the authority of Omar bin Abdulaziz, may God be pleased with him.

Among the exploits of the day of Ashura is what was narrated from him, peace be upon him: “He who is generous to his family on the day of Ashura, may God expand his Sunnah for him.” This was reported by the ancestors from an experience and they found the impact of this in their lives, so whoever has capacity should strive for this expansion in order to seek the capacity of God.

ALLAH ou Akbarr.

• Not to mention the aches that affect one's behavior and the safety of one's heart.
