But the photos and our observations are clear.

We are talking about skewers, ”testifies bitterly Romain Morinière, manager of the Ile Grande LPO station.

For now, neither he nor his volunteers can intervene. “Not while the birds are able to fly. It's impossible to capture them, ”he explains. At the conservation center, however, we are worried about the fate of the three gulls, a species common in Brittany but nevertheless protected. “We can fear infections or food discomfort. We do not know how the injuries will evolve, ”continues the member of the LPO.

Many questions arise after the discovery of the three injured birds and many witnesses wonder about the identity of the perpetrators of these acts of cruelty.

But also on the way in which these projectiles were able to reach the animals, going so far as to perforate their chest.
